The backdrop and new terrain really make the figures pop.  I love the wizard - did you use washes or inks to get that hue of blue and purple?

Yes, he was basecoated with contrast paints, then several different washes, the blue was highlighted with a heather blue and highlighted further with a linen white... the purple was highlighted with a sky grey and linen white in areas...

Here we have one of my favorite sculpts from the Dwarves of Tir-na-bor... Dwarven Light Artillery... Yes, the front guy must be certainly deaf...

:o You are an absolute machine. Minis, terrain, everything is awesome and you're churning through them.

Cadwe Minotaur Maid.... I feel a woman with a loaded crossbow and a cleaver has sort of the psycho combo a woman would go for after finding out their husband was cheating!....

Ah, you're getting into the Cadwallon range! 8)

They're my main Confrontation collection, after Mid Nor, and I just love the City Guard. I've enlisted this Minotaur in the militia too; she's one of the two big guys (the other one being the elephant trophy wearing ogre).

I love the way you managed to paint the flower embroidery on her fanny pack too btw!  :D
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Appreciate it! the guard are some of my favorite... and I LOVE the crossbow men as well... I look forward to getting to all of them and then to building a version of the Cadwallon city scenery.

Looks great! I always struggle with where to put the moss on ruins. You did a great job, it looks natural.

Some cracking good photos as Von Lucky says. I really like the Alahan sculpts and the colors you have chosen work well.
