« on: June 25, 2018, 11:22:50 AM »
I recently gleaned these from fleabay. They're 20mm resin castings, but some of the vehicle crewmwn are missing, can anybody identify the makers of the little chaps (think they're white metal?) manning the APCs please?

Might be Britannia Miniatures, in which case try Andy at Grubby Tanks. He holds the range.

Thanks H, I've ordered a couple of WW2 tank commanders too, late 70s early 80s if memory serves, tankies still wore berets when swanning around Germany!?

Was pretty good, seeing as theses lads came piling out of the 432s!

But can they fight?
At the moment I'm painting a platoon of Soviet Airborne who look a formidable bunch of cutthroats. First go at Elhiem 20mms... very impressed, they're almost painting themselves!

Watch it with the slurs, Harry. Would be a shame to ruin good model painting with that.

I'm a tad new to all this modern warfare stuff... and a tad confused!
A t'internet search for the BAOR Regiments that operated the Chieftain, Scorpion/Scimitar armoured vehicles has drawn a blank. Probably me, not knowing what I'm looking for!
Can anyone help please with a list so I can put 'Harry's Chieftains' in their Regiment?

The Inniskillings had Chieftains on exercise with my unit in 1986 near Sennelager.
I've got a BAOR OOB for around that time in my shed, I'll look out thecarmoured units with Chieftains for you.
