Into the Peninsula update 08/04/20
« on: July 20, 2018, 08:45:07 PM »
Well having painted a few character models from Brigade games which can be seen here http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=109261.0
I went on to upgrading my TSS tiles so I could set up a table to represent somewhere in Spain during the Peninsular War.
I've made a start on some French Infantry to go up against the 95th and having got this far I thought I'd start a new thread to keep an eye on my progress.
The French figures are from Perry miniatures, there's a few more figures to go yet as initally I'd like a small force for the likes of FFOL or SODAS and having upgraded some plain boards I'd like to start doing walls, roads etc to replace the more Northern Euorpean items I have on the table in the below photo.
Anyway some photos of my progress so far 🙂

Neat, crispy painting and beautiful table setup!

Very nice! Did you do the terrain mat for these from scratch?

Very nice work  :-*

I picked up Sharpe & co at Historicon along with the new Exploring officers on foot & mounted - nice figures.

I want them next, but with this trickle of character figures coming out I may hang in a bit as it's pricey ordering from the UK even if you don't get whacked by VAT and customs
