Hi. finally got around to playing the rules I got from you Bjorn and really enjoyed them. We are using A Very British Civil War as our inspiration for the rules, so a couple of things to bring up with regard to this.

We are using the following as house rule modifications, but you may want to consider them if you do a A Very British Civil War supplement for this period:

1. Shotguns. The general opnion is that these would be a common item in the UK, certainly more common than a rifle.

2. A Very British Civil War allows for gangster & smuggler forces, which is what my force is based on, so I have a number of Thompson armed figures. T&T says that these are special weapons, but we allowed as many as you wanted, saying that the cost of the weapon would act as a balance to the game.

That's the only 2 things that stood out last night. Many have some more feedback soon, as we hope to get some more games in soon, as we are planning on running a particpation game at Bovington this year.

glad you enjoyed your game.

The rules are just a general guideline, so if you like house rules pls go on. I like your suggestions. Shotguns as common weapons in the UK make sense to me.

My friend Grimm uses submachine gun units for his Chinese War Lord games and they work fine. They run  easily out of ammo when you roll a one on a d10 !
