Helle's Belles (Update 10 Apr 20)
« on: July 25, 2018, 08:50:46 PM »
I'm just a visitor to this bit of the forum (I'm normally more of a Future Wars kind of chap), but I thought I'd post a photo of Helle's Belles; painted for occasional use at my local club.  L-R: Martha, Eleanor, Heidi, Helle, Simone, Bethan, Erin Lilly & Kristen.  (All from Black Scorpion.)

They look great, I especially like the lady in purple.

Thank-you.  It was the lady in purple that drew my eye to this range in the first place - I particularly like her rather fabulous hat.

Black Scorpion are currently my favorite range of Western miniatures.  You have certainly done these figures proud.

I've added another pair of gunslingers to Helle's Belles, plus some NPCs for table dressing.  Figures are (L-R): Black Scorpion, Gunfighters Ball/Knuckleduster x 2 and Great Escape Games/Dead Man's Hand x 2.

I've added another pair of gunfighters and three NPCs to my little Old West collection (all Gunfighters Ball/Knuckleduster except second from right, who is Black Scorpion).

Nice work. I agree, Black Scorpion are my favorite western range as well. In fact I am waiting on an order.  Sold off all my western stuff, now re-building it.  I may get some extras from Reaper.

Thanks.  I have slightly mixed feelings about the Black Scorpion figures, the sculpting is lovely, but some of the casting seems a little bit rough; maybe I just got a bad batch, but either way, it's a minor quibble at most.  The Gunfighters Ball/Knuckleduster figures I've had have all been very nice though, and they do some rather fun sculpts.  The Great Escape Games/Dead Man's Hand figures, whilst also very nice are a bit short compared to the Black Scorpion and Knuckleduster ones though.

Great job on them all. Its interesting to see some of the ranges mixed. I have hankling to do some Wild West gaming using 7TV Pulp. But I am unsure on which range to run with. Both Knuckle Duster and Great Escape Games have sets I would like though.
