I think you convinced me... I'll go for a German Grey armour. Although I won't cover the letters. I think they give the model a nice touch... As for the zimmerit... Too much for me

More photos soon!

Well, here is the KRTruppen painted at last... It isn't finished, I'd like to make some weathering to the armour and work more on the back pipes (I imagine it as a diesel motor, very smoky...)

I painted the armour in Vallejo Model Color German Grey..., Shadowing in black and highlighting with Vallejo Cold Grey... The MG48 is in Vallejo Yellow Olive to add a little contrast, although the weapon surely should be painted Grey if this was a real thing... The panzerfaust is in khaki.

Here is another view I like a lot...

CENSORED

I like how the svastika and the eagle in the helmet resulted...

I'm not sure if paint something in the other shoulderpad (now Panzergrau) and how to enhance the panzerfaust...

Comments and ideas will be welcome!

Well done! The German Grey works really good, also the Green on MG. But i'm not sure about the colour of the panzerfaust, looks too flat, I would suggest a darker colour. Nevertheless, good job!

In my opinion this is the only point that is not so good.
The swastika here has "open ends" and the circle around the swastika hasn't everywhere the same broadness. Also the paint somehow looks very thick. Maybe you should use water slide decals from model planes/tanks.
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

Well, it's not thick painting I asure you... It's the effect of my awful abilities with kneadatite

I must agree with the svastika, tough... My hand is not as steady as it used to be...

It could be worse! I could have modelled the svastika with putty as I intended first
