That's cool looking! I love the way you built it into the hillside. How did you get the layer effect? It looks like a product out of a rapid-prototyping machine, sort of...

Ha ha! It's the same in English: "Pyrograve" is the real name of it. But most people call it a "woodburner" since during the 70s and 80s most of us got one for Christmas in a craft kit. :)

Your skull is more anatomical than mine.

What?!? You worry about a whim of nature (geology, if I´m not mistaken!) to be anatomically correct?!? Oh my, you lovably-indifferent American! :D

Very nice piece, Monsieur! I particularly like the hole leading to the grotto below (doubtlessly holding heathen treasures unbeknownst to christendom!)

My brother, the art snob, said my skull looked like it came from an alien Gray.

ALL skull-shaped rocks are full of treasure, which is why you don't see them too much anymore. People have been dynamiting them apart to get to the treasure-filled center.

My skull seems to have a "wig" (peruke ?)  that's why we call it "la Marquise"

Now that you mention it!

Actually, it reminds me of the old Governor of Jamaica from the Errol Flynn classic "Captain Blood"!

"Aye, it´s the gout, me lad!"
