Reichbusters: Project Vril boardgame
« on: August 01, 2018, 02:05:06 PM »

For those of you not suffering from Kickstarter fatigue, there's shortly going to be a new KS, run by Mythic Games (whose Solomon Kane & Time Of Legends: Joan Of Arc boardgames recently ran successful KS's). It looks rather like it's going to be a sort of co-op Castle Wolfenstein - your team searching the castle in order to destroy the Vril weapon research it contains.
There are some pics of the minis (they're mostly pretty good, though the 'roided-out Para wielding a pair of adapted Vickers mgs is not to my taste) & there is, of course, the promise of a big German mech suit.
All in all, I await with interest what the game turns out like.

Here's a pic of the mech suit from Gen Con (I'm also hoping they change the name before the KS starts).

But who are you going to call?

(Reminds me of the current advertising campaign for a Romanian-French SUV with a metallic finish).

Oh come on, we know the only reason the SAS fellow looks unrealistic is the lack of beard.  lol
