Great job on the red kite!

We're not allowing individual minis to be added on to KS pledges this time (basically, we're trying to keep it as simple as possible, as there's a hug amount to get through, and only two of us to do it, and we don't want to be late delivering!). Sorry!

W'll get them all into the webstore as individual minis after th KS has delivered, though.

Entirely fair enough! Looking forward.

what lovely figures and painting.

despite a big sell-off to 'the last nazgul' a little while back (including the rules unfortunately) I think I still have the figures, and must look to paint 'em up.

Thank you Bloggard. Did you ever get round to getting back into this? I’ve scheduled a game at my FLGS for a couple of months. I hear there’s another Kickstarter coming. Time to read the rules again. Had fun doing a few videos on YouTube also of my past efforts:

The Concept - “Burrows & Badgers” #1

Birds in “Burrows and Badgers” #2 (Red Kite, Kingfisher, Goldfinch and Owl)

I enjoyed those videos! :)

I agree - Voice of Command is a useful one for birds... they tend to die easily if they fly off on their own, but in a gang like that, they're very effective.

I've not got much experience with flames and OSL myself, but here's two methods I've tried:

Otter Mage OSL

Hedgehog Witch Hunter with torch

cheers,
Michael

Those are amazing! I have painted about twenty five Burrows and Badgers minis but as my opponent hasn’t I thought I’d crack out some of many unpainted minis. Was good fun. My kind of game. I gave two bow wielding characters pain poison, positioned them in the Mordheim building after my opponent left his leader in the open right in front of it. I won initiative and used voice of command for the first archer to strike the enemy leader along with his mate. Both hit as I used a balance point for each to double the chances. The leader was crippled and kept losing initiative  rolls till they were easily and eventually taken out. I know that makes me a bad person. Albeit my opponent ran Olly the otter up  the stairs to seek redress from the two: Squirrel Nutkin and Hetty hedgehog only escaped with their lives because the hare wizardess, Hoppity the Hare, mind  “pushed” the otter out of a large window. His toughness 3 meant he suffered no fall damage. But he did take 3 wounds of impact damage from being pushed rear first into a tent pole just beyond the window. Fun all round.  Why don’t you let my opponent, store owner of the Pit Gaming Shop carry the range or still no retailers? They do a lot of shows. We got a lot of interest from store onlookers. Largely chuckling  at the cute character names carrying out horrendous acts of violence and double entendres. Maybe it’s cos I’m innocent or not originally from the U.K. but frankly the chuckling every time “badger” was said was just incomprehensible…and puerile.

Did another video:

Burrows and Badgers painted hare + unboxing loads of other Oathsworn miniatures

And see Michael is doing some lovely water voles and newts. Both European protected species and the bane of built development projects.

sorry - missed your query - no, and I think the figures have now gone (possibly sequestered away somewhere, but if so, I'm not sure where!).

no reflection on the game or figures obviously.
Enjoying your adventures with it / them. Great stuff.

Brill stuff :-*

I’d get into B&B like a shot if I didn’t have a room (my office) full of miniatures et cetera  :)

I have the same, but thought "sod it" and got them anyway as they're such lovely figures.

I did worse. I have a garage full of figures.

And I picked up something from each of the kickstarters for years even though you only need about 10 figures for a faction.

They really are very beautiful though.

And I have painted about a third of all the figures.

Would be good if there was some form of simplified rules to play with like 10 year old kids as the rules are too mathematical for them I think.

I've used Fistful of Lead for games though I do like the main rules.
