White Russians in the Battle of Pagoda Hill

Although some scenes are repeated this claims to be actual footage of combat in China of the 1920's -  great  looking cavalry charges and assaults you can clearly see White Russians manning the 75mm guns and as officers.

Fascinating footage, and like they say at the beginning, must have been hugely risky to film. Would be interesting to know who they were fighting and why the film, which is clearly quite propagandistic, was made.

A-MAZ-ING!  Wow!  All my Chinese gun crews are getting a White Russian NCO. Interesting how they wear Chinese uniform, minus armband,  it still wearing their White Russian regimental caps. Brilliant.

Stonking footage! Very evocative!

Good footage, although not entirely convinced it was shot during an actual battle.
Similar footage was taken during the 'Great War', and most famously Pancho Villas battles during the revolution, the majority of which was re-staged and filmed after the event, although why you would want to relive that Hell again even in a mock affair is beyond me!
