Loving this thread, particularly Artemis!

I think i need more animals (deers, wolves,...) for raising an army for her

Well, some games played last sunday at our club game's day .

Bring 6 armies to deal with during the day. But play only 2 games

Artemis army display (bad pic from my phone) versus a Dagda ' army :

ARTEMIS
Hydra
Herackles
Minautor
Amazon bowmen
Thracian warriors
Dryads (not on the pictures and i forgot to play with  :?)
Wolves

I think, ARTEMIS is heavily equipped for her original stats.
But i hadn't time to test all her traits because a big melee bring her into a long fight with Twrsch Twrsch and some celts warriors.
And she died and the army routed a few minutes later because i had the bad idea to put to many units near the table edge (as in a classical battle game) and lot of them runaway outside too easily....
lol lol and   o_o for my dramatic deployment  :?

Cheers
Eric

Artemis turned out great!  I have been unable to find a good Athena or Artemis, so I will probably steal your idea.

Your Dryads are gorgeous and it will be great to see them in action in your next game!
As for Poseidon, my expectations are big!  ;D ;)

I happy you like them DintheDin. It's a pity that i forgot to play with at our last game  :?
Poseidon is in stand by at the moment. Not very inspired with him for the painting step.

Artemis turned out great!  I have been unable to find a good Athena or Artemis, so I will probably steal your idea.

My Athena will be based on the Schleich Wonder Woman. I found her at a bargain price (3€) and she was so nice that i choose her for the job.
Then i'll get a warrioress Athena   :-* instead of a classical one (too common with a long dress not fit for war).

I start the conversion but was blocked by a missing item in my stock, to make her appearing like a true Athena.
I hope you'll like the final result (in a near future)

cheers
Eric

Athena's characteristics were that she was decent, prudent and wise and so she's depicted with a long dress, but OK.
But one more characteristic item she was wearing, was the Athenian helmet. Will you put one?

My main problem is the helmet and i have ordered a Owl to place on the base with her.
I think to make her dress longer (if i have time/courage to do it), giving her a less sexy look than wonder woman  ;)

i'll post a picture of the first step of the conversion.

I will be really happy to see this gorgeous miniature being transformed to a mighty Athena Goddess!
