Darathar's Adventures In The Wasteland -Gaslands New with Team Slime

Hello fellow Wastelanders, I started chopping up cars back when Mad Max Fury Road came out in 2015. But the project died off as there were no rulesets I was really interested in playing back then... But now with Gaslands out its time once again to raid toyshops like the man child I am and get back into the wastelands!

This thread will have both cars for Gaslands and warbands for Scrappers for when my characters run out of fuel or want to shoot up a pub or raid a town etc.

First up I'll Start with the old cars from back in the day:



The first car I ever did.





Just a matchbox chevy with some 40k bitz attached.





Hotwheels Chevy with and Ork gun and IG sentinel armour.



A howheels Dodge charger with some empire gun cut up

And The newest additions:



Hotwheels Monte carlo Im not sure about a gun for this one yet.





and an armoured van not sure about guns either yet I'm looking to get out of putting 40k weapons on cars in favour of something abit more realistic but not quite sure what to do yet.

I had an idea of incorporating gigantic radioactive worms into our groups games im not sure what we'll do yet but they do look cool next to each other.

Next up is a Plymouth Duster,



I tried something a little different and put a Nos bottle into it.



But when i put the car together you can barely see it...

Next up I have a matchbox truck







I put a skull and a bit of graffiti on it.

What drew me to it was the gear on top of it



That will be the last of my "vanilla" Gaslands Vehicles for now. Next i'm making a team of Rutherford sponsored Military looking cars.

Oh, what a lovely set of cars! That bunch of gear on top of the truck is a fantastic touch.

Might I suggest a turret of some kind for the truck, or would that be too over the top for what you're aiming at?

Thanks Vladimir Raukov, yes I will be putting some form of turret on the truck. The truck was the last mini I painted for Gaslands before I played the game so I wasnt too sure what I wanted for it. Now after playing it I'm pretty sure it needs a turret mounted HMG!

Next up is the first pick up truck for my Rutherford sponsored team:









Its a hotwheels "off duty" pick up with a turret mounted machine gun. The guy hanging out the window is a Revell German Army Crisis Reaction Forces which I will be using more of for this team.
The theme for this team is they are private military contractors paid for by Mr Rutherford to hunt down anyone in the Wastelands causing him any trouble and to shakedown anyone they run into and seize any valuables they have be it cars, fuel, weapons and whatever else they might be carrying.

Next up is something a bit different, I've been toying with the idea of doing a 20mm Cyberpunk city for various Osprey games.

So I decided to do a test run of a Bladerunner/Overwatch inspired hover car.











It's a Hotwheels Hollowback car with the wheels removed, then I added parts of Space Marine backpacks and I added wheels from a Hotwheels Honda city.

I think I will start making more Cyberpunk 20mm in the future I just need to go out and look for suitable minis and terrain for  it but I'll start a new thread for that. Next up on this one is more Rutherford cars!

I like the red firefighter truck, because it looks somewhat brutish. Maybe put a dozer blade on it's Front.
