WW2 Desert Campaign, Game 4 Last Stand
« on: August 27, 2018, 06:00:59 PM »

https://yarkshiregamer.blogspot.com/2018/08/op-compass-game-4-last-stand.html

We managed to get another of our Early Desert WW2 games completed recently, part 4 of our journey through Op Compass and those fascinating 1940 battles.

This time we see the British trying to clear the last Italian Resistance in Fort Nibeiwa.

Great fun as usual, full orbats etc if you want to play along so ditch those fancy Tigers and Panthers and grab yourself some Tankettes and enjoy !

A tough fight for the Regio Esercito, especially when pitted against Matildas in the group.

I do love the caunter scheme on the Matildas.

Thanks for sharing your report.

All the best,

Helen

I fancied doing caunter on my tanks and vehicles, but bottled it and went for plain portland stone on the majority instead. Good to see you've carried it off on yours, bravo!

Thoroughly enjoyed that - I even went through and read all the others. I might look up that book, too.
