Some recent WW1 stuff
« on: August 30, 2018, 03:59:06 PM »
Dear all, I have been neglectful of LAF of late. Mainly because other platforms make it easier to post photos. That aside, here are some images of recent-ish WW1 painting over the past eight months. Enjoy. :)
French RMMC, Palestine. Crusader WW2 with earlier paintjob.

Indian Lancers. Modified Perry Sudan.

Light Car Patrol Model T Fords. Matchbox cars and a converted 1/48 kit.

Scratchbuilt Mk! Ambulance.

Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry, Syria 1918. GWM, Mutton Chop and Perry WW2 Yeomanry. Headswapped.

Scratchbuilt 3 ton Subsidy trucks.

RRAC, Flanders, 1915.

A gaggle of flyers.

RFC types arming Cooper bombs.

Mounted Machine Gun Squadron, Palestine 1917.

Ottoman Archie.

Command Group, Light Car Patrol

Dismounted Australian Light Horse. Blaze Away Miniatures.

Mounted ALH. Blaze Away Miniatures.

XX Corps Staff Car. Matchbox Daimler.

RRAC and RR Tender, Light Armoured Motor Battery. Palestine.

Military Miniatures Painted by Over Open Sights.

Great to see these again  :-* :-* Love them all. The painting quality doesn't suffer for the prolific output, so impressive!

Lovely collection indeed! I remember seeing the Blazeaway Light Horse when they came out and recall that while beautifully sculpted, they were a bit titchy compared to other ranges?

Could I beg a favour and ask for a comparison shot with some other makers please?
