Just come across this thread for the first time. Occasionally I dabble in a bit of conversion but not very often, so I give you one I did some time ago.

Starting with a Foundry Landsknecht command figure like this one:



I needed to make a Cardinal Matthaus Schiner for Marignano 1515. The hat is a shield.



Note the nose extension, he had a huge conk. (At least I think that's what it said).









And the finished command stand featuring, the wonderfully conniving, Schiner.
