Updates on the next faction: Vehicles and mechs are sculpted by Feo, but I did the infantry - and it's looking nice! =)

C&C welcome!

Cheers

Ooook - a lot of time passed, got totally distracted by the FSD campaign (which went GREAT! We made something like 35K! https://www.myminifactory.com/frontier/full-spectrum-dominance-1309 ) and forgot to post here!

Long story short, now I have another range of terrain that I just released, here some shots!

(can you spot the eight engineers in the photo?)

And some close ups!

And we're now finally out, running a sale (With the code COMPOUND30) on our store as well! https://www.myminifactory.com/users/TheLazyForger

Cheers,
Jack

Superbly detailed work as usual.
As I said before, I think the perimeter walls can be used to build a kill team/boarding actions/into the dark/maze etc
kind of game also.

Fast forward ....well, a lot. Got sidetracked heavily, the campaign stretchgoals got all completed, and now we're finally headed towards the next step - ANOTHER CAMPAIGN in late november! I also did a three months trip in India (another one) which distracted me a bit, but I'm finally back on track and planning to work hard to get everything done by then.

I hope I'll be able to keep this thread updated with what's to come.

Speaking of the Union (formerly the Wastelanders) here's what we got so far.

**GUNWAGONS**

Gunwagons are the not-tanks of the unions. Lighter in built but cheaper, they provide the backbone of their firepower.

And here painted by the amazing Draconian ( https://www.instagram.com/draconian_minipainting/?hl=en )

There are several gun options, two body options and four wheel options, combinations are many!

** RAMWAGONS **
Reusing most of the components of the gunwagons, it's possible to have a force of "melee tank", the ramwagons.
Again, MANY Combinations, here's a couple:

... here a mix of both:

Those are awesome! Someday I would love to see a set of non-combat versions (alongside civilian vehicles). They would be great for adding details to scenes.

Nice concept. Super detail.
The more i look at the pics the more I discover.
Just a thought , have you thought of mortars or
Howitzers or simply sprung ( modern catapults )demolition charge throwers which would have an area of effect?

The infantry are very nice also.
Keep it up.

Heh, that's why i don't like renders much. ...and i'm totally planning to print some in 15mm too! In fact i'd love to see people playing in that scale, sometimes!

Hah, thank you! Every time i walked next to one i would just add a cannon in my mind... it had to be done! :) :)

Would be cool, but a bit complicated game-wise. I'm planning some heavy artillery but probably not meant for gaming and rather as objectives?

Anyways - more soon to come... it's a long work, but I hope it'll pay off eventually!

Some updates here. I revisited the pipelines i did last year, in the hopes of making them sturdier and easier to print.

then I started playing with different styles of chimneys. Creating a proper "props library" is very important for the composition, otherwise stuff will be added always too late.

Finally, I built some factory with these parts. It was definitely NOT just placing pieces together, and lots of experimentation is still undergoing, but i'm pretty happy with this first outcome.

Here a sample layout, with a bunch of pipes combined together. of course you can just print some endings and use those to make the refinery a standalone pieces.

I'm still assembling my new studio, as soon as I get working lights i'll make sure to take better shots!

Cheers

Just wonderful. And now that I've got some prints of your earlier stuff I can say it's just as good in the flesh as in the concept pics.
