I love the car on the one base.

Thank you! In fact, there are several of various colors! :)

Meanwhile, some new buildings done, from concepting to model to print to -partial- painting!

First the sketches:

and soon after, some models. A lot i've learned from the test print, so the "final" versions will have less problematic printing areas, for once.

... And some prints.

I started to put some quick paint on the oil tank: let's see how it'll look once completed. For now, only base colors and some weathering.

C&C welcome, updates soon!

Cheers
Jack

Loving it!

The whole being able to come up with an idea, sketch it out, then create the 3D models, then print them, then paint them! A whole bunch of different skills needed, and all executed very well.

Looking forward to seeing the whole shanty town.

Thank you! Yeah, when the whole flow works it is some satisfaction.
As for the shanty, it's a project for GameCraft minatures, so there's gonna be some more concepting involved! :)

Do you mean to release the files? I have no idea yet. For now, i'm mostly doodling for myself. :)

Ah! A Sparkmaker, a very crappy (as in: it breaks every 2 days, literally) DLP printer. I reckon an Anycubic Photon now would be a much better purchase.

Yeah, the Anycubic is a great printer . So is the Elegoo Mars.
But what you are doing with the spark maker is inspirational.

These are fantastic mate. Resin printers are perfect for 6mm, I’ve got so many cool things on the go.

Yes, i'm really not sold on 28mm or even 15mm figures, but for 6mm they are just the best solution! :)

More designs and prints tonight... i'd love to do some manual sculpting too, but i need some concrete sculpts to wreck first! ^_^

Cheers,
Jack

Thank you! :) I might do some more details for the next pieces, but not being self-supporting (the towers and the billboards need a base) i still have to find the best solution! ^^

Cheers
