Discussion on WWII hex based rules
«
on:
October 02, 2018, 10:05:59 AM »
A gamer has opened up a thread at Board Game Geek to discuss my hex based Tigers at Minsk rules, in particular in moving the system to a larger table and loosening the recovery from Op. Fire marked status. It has all of the ingredients to become an interesting thread (for me at least).
I’m not sure that hex based games are that popular here, but I am using 4” hexes with 10mm figures, so for those that might of been interested in past posts on these rules, here is a link to my blog, which some may find it easier to comment at and that in turn leads to the BGG thread.

Rommel can be played using hexes (although I'm not sure they offer any real advantages over squares). Grids work well for operational level WW2.
