I toyed with doing the cape lining red or even violet on mine - yours says yes I should have.

I also thought of the red cape lining, then decided against it. Regretting it now as it looks really bloody good on yours.

That's the impressive thing - how such a limited set of options can produce atartlingly different, yet still consistently great results. The different painting styles used by JB and David, for example, are quite evident, yet both are wonderful.

Malamute hardly needs to do any work on the promotion of this range, with all these fine examples appearing. Obviously all part of the cunning plan......

I would have thought the red lining would be too "Dracula" and give him something of a "comic-book" look, but I think it's the understated shade of red that David has used that makes it work so well  :D
