That's a lovely effect on the armour. Great job.

These look absolutely fantastic, great job!
When fighting the thousand, you must still defeat them one at a time.

The metalwork is very convincing (you should do a how to workbench article on painting armour) and always good to see Grenadier miniatures, especially when treated with such loving care. Thank you for sharing these.

Gorgeous!

I second the suggestion you do a how-to. 'Just washes and highlights' is what we all do, but some clearly achieve much more with that technique than e.g. me. :)

I've got a couple more base coated and ready for whenever so I might try and do something of an article or even a video. I can't promise anything though.

Well I did say I had a couple more ready to go. Painted these two last year.

Also had another knight kicking around from many years earlier, 2003-ish which I'd painted for an article in Harbinger magazine. Sold off a lot of my random painted bits the other year but kept this guy for nostalgia. Decided to update him and add him to the collection so he got rebased and some retouching. A couple of minor things got repainted and his armour was given some additional highlights to bring it up to my current style.

And of course the group so far.

Got more of these knights, no idea when I'll do them but I'm sure I'll paint one or two....

Very nice. I must get me some of them. I love the golden colour on the hero. I must steal that idea also :) (Painted to a tenth of the standard of your of course as these are amazing!)

Blimey, they look gorgeous.

which I'd painted for an article in Harbinger magazine.

Really enjoyed the theory articles you did for that, why I still keep hold of my copies.

Classics well painted beyond my ability, but sod it, I have a few to so think I will slap some paint on them one day anyway

In pale imitation to your outstanding working on them.

Very nice paint job, out of interest the whole old Grenadier Range is now available from Forlorn Hope, a UK company.

That's fantastic especially now seeing as ordering from mainland Europe is no longer as appealing as it once was. Hope they can add the rest of the range over time.
