I am in on this one, best non-scratchbuilt fantasy scenery I ever have seen.   The intro video is worth watching.
If the production and delivery is as professional as the modelling and KS campaign this will be a winner.

Probably worth mentioning that these will also be available digitally as 3d printable files in a later Kickstarter campaign.

That's probably some of the best looking stuff I've seen... I'll definitely be in this one too....

Honestly, if we're getting into those kinds of prices I still find Tabletop Worlds far superior. The Hagglethorn stuff is more whimsical I guess but it looks a bit cruder made to my eyes.

Until I saw these I agree that the TTW were the "best", being easily as high quality but more fantasy styled than the Manorhouse Workshop buildings which I also rate very highly.

I think it is the exaggerated whimsical, sort of ramshackle look of these that is so appealing. As the sculptor admits, very strongly influenced by the Jim Henson, Tim Burton and Arthur Rackham vision of fantasy worlds.

I want them for Moonstone mainly (which as a game is equally whimsical) but they will also work for a Cadwallon based skirmish game I have been thinking about.

Agree completely. But both are pricey enough that I'm not jumping after either.

These look great, more whimsical than Tabletop World, but just as nice to my jaundiced eye.

I am surprised that the cost for painted is not that much greater than unpainted. The times I have gotten Dwarven Forge, I got unpainted as it saves so much (painted usually adds another 30-40%). I hope these guys aren't going to get into trouble by pricing the painting so low - 10% or so.

I imagine the painting will just be slapdash with some woodstain chucked over the top.

I really like these, but imagine postage from the other side of the planet is going to be crippling. Definitely dig the 'faerytale' vibe they embody, although I'd personally prefer them with a more 'gothic' paintjob. Looks like he's smashed his goal in no time at all.

Well for me it's finally something that will have very little postage... however the price of the rest is way to high for me, lol.

Apparently all production and painting is being done in China and bulk shipped to local distribution points.
They estimate $25 in UK/Europe for the two building pledges which is not bad. I have had US manufacturers try and charge me that for shipping 2 28mm figures  >:(

I do wonder about the implications of getting the production done in China given the tendency for "after market" versions of high quality resin models to start appearing.

I'm sure he won't be too fussed. He'll sell the STL files next and make a buck more.

Yes. I think this may well be a one-off campaign.
It is growing steadily and has smashed the target, interesting to see if he keeps it growing by adding in pieces he originally lined up for a later release (the haunted wood stuff and the Labyrinth) or was not planned to be sold (the city wall).
Personally I hope not (I couldn't afford it  :'( )
