Cheers!  There's a lot more to come. Be afraid.  Be very afraid.

This is what I love about AVBCW, its bonkers but great fun.
The Fish Guardian is obviously more high brow than the Western Mail!

I don't think that any Pembrokeshire rags get as high as the brow, low or otherwise... Bridge of the nose maybe... The Milford Mercury barely makes the chin.

Sorry! Sorry! Entirely too easy and tempting.

Another dispatch from our intrepid reporter, Huw Puw of the Fish Guardian, presently embedded with the Army of the Republic of Cantref Cemaes: http://www.jemimafawr.co.uk/2018/09/30/a-very-british-civil-war-in-pembrokeshire-1938-a-dispatch-from-somewhere-near-the-back-of-the-front/

In a game with many peculiar and wonderful groups, that's certainly one of the wildest ones I've ever seen. Well done on those conversions too!

Cheers Fram!

Somewhat scarily, they are based on historical fact and my grandparents actually lived next door to the granddaughter of 'Twm Carnabwyth', who was a real bloke (in 1839, not 1938)!

I can't take credit for the modelling though, as that was all the work of Martin Small, who also did all the modelling for our 'Fishguard 1797' game, including the Welsh 'lady' on the blog header.  I just provided the concept and the paint!
