Great Queeg ??
«
on:

Does anyone know what happened to "the Great Queeg" in New Zealand.
A wonderful modeller.
I think there was sadly family illness but he seems to have disappeared from the grid.
Does anyone have an update.
Thanks

Yeah, queeg has been an inspiration to me for years. Hope he is doing as well as circumstances permit. Any news would be appreciated.

Brent’s daughter was very seriously ill. He told me he was going to put modelling and painting on hold until further notice to concentrate on his family. I’m afraid I don’t know what happened. I fear the worst although have long hoped for the best. He is an absolutely top bloke, as well as a simply brilliant modeller and painter. But he is indeed now off the grid and has been for 18 months. And understandably so.
I hope we’ll see him in action again one day.

I never knew of the bloke but it seems he may even live in the same town as me. I hope everything is alright. What a horrible ordeal to go through.

Here's hoping for the best indeed.
A sad situation.
Thanks for the responses.

Sorry that hear of his troubles! The man has been an inspiration to myself and many around here! Hopefully some of that love feeds back to him and his family and they get well soon!

Thank you for the update Captain Blood. Brent has always been eager to share his techniques and ideas. Such a talented and prolific guy.

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers.
