All I can say is that we have a designer who is very keen to design one, it all depends on the amount of support for the game and it's kick starter over the next couple of weeks.

Personally I would love to be able to field the EDF as either a mechanized platoon or an air-mobile platoon with all the associated vehicles & flyers!

That's a good idea.
When we get near the end of the current stretch goal list we will arrange a backers vote for some new stretch goals.

If casualty figs are on the maybe list, maybe include a "medic at work" sculpt as well?  Having both in a range makes for some neat diorama possibilities.

Thanks, Medic at work is a great idea. Will certainly put it on the list of stretch goals!

Buck Surdu, Albedo Combat Patrol rules author has written up a great game that he played last weekend.

The game was a typical introductory skirmish scenario, with a couple of units per side.

We've added the full write up with loads of photos to update page @ https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/179272384/albedo-combat-patrol-the-28mm-sci-fi-miniatures-ga/posts/2323372

If you are interested in seeing how the game plays, Beasts of War ran a 'Let's Play Albedo' video yesterday.

You can watch it @ :https://www.beastsofwar.com/featured/albedo-round-breakdown/

@Chris.
Great review on Beasts of War.
I really like the narrative feel to it, and the card system is really cool.

On another note, random strange question but any plans for casualty/wounded figures?

I love casualty figs myself, but you risk the wrath of PETA with this range.  "Look at those poor dead bunnies!"  :)

It's all good, after all those bunnies would be dead thanks to actions of other animals.  ;)

I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Yeah, but those other animals are wearing fur.  You know how PETA gets about that subject.  We'll wind up having to paint all our models with random blotches of red from the paint balloon attacks.  This project is doomed, I tell you.  :)

I like the basic figures and I may get some to put on human Sci-Fi heads or some alien heads. Can't get excited about bunny rabbits and dogs though. Will be interested to see the vehicles.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Funny that you should mention the conversion potential of putting human or alien heads of the Albedo Miniatures. We have been very focused on looking at conversion potential of adding our heads to other miniatures to make them anthropomorphic, and missed seeing the potential of people using our miniatures as general 'hard' sci-fi miniatures. We will be looking at bringing some human and alien head packs out ourselves to go with the range, so interested to hear any requests for styles and alien races.

Re: Peta. They don't have any objection about depiction of critters that are wearing there own fur. It's when someone kills an animal to wear it's fur that they object! Can't see an Albedo character ever doing that.

I've just added a photo battle report of the sharp counter-terrorist operation fought out at Burrows End subway station.

ILR forces hijacked a subway train, drove it to the part of the subway under the Parliament building packed with explosives and attempted to rig it to detonate collapsing the building above.

Thanks to the selfless courage of ConFed Homeguard and there EDF tac advisors the plot was defeated.

Full report with lots more photos on update page @

About head packs:
Human heads with helmet and gasmask would be cool.
