Excellent paintjob, Piers. Although I think that you wouldn't have picked that palette back in 1987. Those paints were much brighter back in the day, particularly with elves… I remember pink and blue horrors - LITERALLY!!!

Been too busy with work this lockdown to do much, but finally painted a model this year. I did however acquire a large box of Oldhammer Citadel figures from my neighbour... lockdowns are weird in rural Ireland like that.

Anyway...

One of the Khorne Chaos Champions - Gurni Iron Arm - from 1988 based on an illustration in the Realms of Chaos - Slaves to Darkness book. He has a sword and steam powered mace fist... cos... well its chaos init...

Back in 1987 the generic Elf1 range was released, sculpted by Aly Morrison and Jes Goodwin, it had a certain glam rock feel to it... or as I call it - The Bowie Years.
