Great painting on those classics! I miss the old gangly orcs GW used to make, and this guy certainly triggers my nostalgia. The chaos dwarf if cool, too. I didn’t realize some used to share a visual style with the chaos warriors- I have only seen the ‘tall hat’ versions.

Your rust and aged metal looks amazing. Especially with the brighter coloured shields.
What's your process? Layers technicals washes or stippling?

Hi Matt

It's pretty much the GW Technical paints for rust, and then some brown and black washes, with small drybrushes of silver in parts.

Very simple really.

Very nice painting on those old GW figures. That Orc with the crossbow is on my todo list too - one of the 3 first metal figures I bought back in 1984!
