There really aren't enough tubby, grumpy goblins out there. Splendid work.

It is.

Lost the original and the Otherworld ones fit the body perfectly.

Aha - I was in exactly the same boat. I baulked at the head in the end, thinking it too small, and put it on a Bones ghost body to make.a 1/72 or true 25mm troll. But yours looks great - I should have stuck with Plan A!

Yes... figured it would work as they are based on the old ones, but overjoyed when it fitted so well. Thunk I even prefer it to the original.

This is the 1982 Fiend Factory (and then C18 Undead when moved to Citadel Miniatures) Lord of Darkness…

Beautiful work! They’re very vivid, in a downtrodden Middle Ages sort of way.

Brilliant work as always, but that last close-up of the guy in the kettle hat is brilliant.

I don't know if it was intended, but he looks like he's just realised he shouldn't have poked whatever it is with his billhook. lol

Very cool! Interesting to see how the citadel/GW aesthetic changed re: Goblins and Orcs, particularly their jawlines- by modern (or post- 4th or 6th edition? so not so modern, I guess) standards a jaw like that would be an Orc (or an Orruk, I suppose), maybe just a small-ish one.

Great painting!
