Cheers guys, I have loads of units already  painted, with plans to add a reasonable sized ikko ikki force in the next few months.

May I ask what size the table is?

The samurai layout is on a 8ft by 5ft set-up, however, the table can accommodate a 14ft by 5ft layout.

It was 6ft wide, however, my short arse mates struggled to reach across the table  ;)

are your evergreen trees home-made or commercial?

Absolutely beautiful.

Which ruleset are you using?

Also - do you have any Footsore Minitures figures - if so, how do they fit with other manufacturers and what are the sculpts/detail like in the flesh?

Many thanks

Nick  :)

Cheers buddy

I am currently using War and Conquest, but I fancy giving this rule-set a bash: Battles in the Age of War from Peter Pig

No footsore Samurai as yet, but they will definitely be added at some stage.

Grand - thanks.

I am familiar with PP rules - I think these give fantastic period feel (although some have suggested Samurai are under powered). I also really like the game set up but have only played in 15mm. Would look great in 28mm. And they include siege rules!

Does W&C provide the same flavour?

Cheers

Nick

It's bit generic, but Mr Broom keeps on teasing us with the possibility of a Divine Wind supplement, in the meantime, Rob is updating the samurai army list to enhance the feel of the period.
