Onna-bugeisha & Women of Feudal Japan OUT NOW
« on: October 24, 2018, 04:21:17 PM »

Hi Lead Adventurers!

This is a short and sharp project, much like My Last Sunrise about this time last year. We're on for 11 days, and we'll fulfill in December.

It ends 4th November, so if you're at Crisis you can see them in the flesh, yay!

You're probably familiar with Bad Squiddo Games by now, but in case you aren't - it's a one-Annie company on a constant reinvestment to make ALL THE AMAZING FEMALE MINIS so every but of support means so so much.

The minis are by Daniel Smith and Alan Marsh, painted by our Cubster and Mystic Spirals, all brilliant chaps.

Some highlights!

Thanks all!

Very cool
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Wow thank you!

Next unlock, at £7k!

Were they for real?

They were, all my historical minis are from facts and records. There's even some named characters in there that are fascinating to read about :)

Thanks everyone!

I will back next week (this month I had to deal with the dentist...  :-X  ), just in time...

but I have some questions about pricing. Not a criticism, just a curiosity, why some 3 miniatures packs are priced at 7£ and other at 10£? I know you had reasons, but I cannot figure why some miniatures will cost more than other when they are more or less the same size. Make me wondering I have missed something!

Best,
Arrigo

Thank you!

They aren't, you might have mis seen (I just double checked in panic!) The 3 minis packs are £10 with £12 for the special hero, and the two are £7 and £6 for the little things,

I was referring to the existing packs (it is months that I am thinking to grab them), the ones with Katana are 10, the ones with yumi and yari 7. I was thinking katanas required less metal to cast and also simple moulds! Again I am not criticizing the price, it just puzzles me!

Best,
Arrigo

LIVE STREAM TONIGHT!

Not me, but utter hero Em of Electric Eve Miniature Painting (You might recognise her from Warhammer TV) is going to be streaming herself painting the Adorable Bushidoge and Shogun Meow.

You'll get to see her paint them from the metal upwards, and maybe get some inspiration for painting your own.

There is a chat room to the side where I will be hanging out and you can ask me anything about the Kickstarter, Bad Squiddo in general, or how many sugars I have in my coffee (strangely none!).

The link is here https://www.twitch.tv/electriceve
and it'll be 6pm UK TIME

See you later, and thank you!

Em did a lovely job on stream last night, I got this screenshot but will post up the finished pieces when I have them, they were lovely. The gold looks really good!

We've unlocked stickers!

and some lovely painted photos of Hōjō Masako by the astounding John Morris of Mystic Spirals.

I'm really pleased with how this campaign is running, it is an utter joy, thank you for making it so,
Annie
