Durham Wargames Group Open Day

Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen.

I offer to you my kindest regards an and invitation to the Annual

Durham Wargames Group Open Day
(Note this is Durham England!)
which is held this year upon
Saturday 13th June
10am to 4pm.


Venue is the Vane Tempest Hall, Gilesgate (behind the Queens Head)

Directions (from Durham City Centre)
Take A690 Sunderland Road until Gilesgate roundabout. Take third exit (Gilesgate) and proceed up hill for 1/4 mile. The entrance to Vane Tempest Hall is on the right, between a take-away and the Queen's Head pub.
You should be able to see the bedlum from there!

Apart from Display games, a snack bar and a bring and buy....there a host of traders turning up such as ...
.... Strategem, Games of War, Tumbling Dice, Dave Thomas,
Under The Bed, Pendraken, Museum Miniatures, Irregular Miniatures, Worley
Books, Northumbria Games, Gateshead Gaming.

Hope to see some of you there!!

Incidently, are there any LAF members already planning on attending?

I may have cake? (If you dont know why this is important, read about cake and code somewhere else on the forum)

not too far from where i am, so wifey allowing you may just see me there, (never could say no to cake! )
Minor skin grafts can be performed on pigs by covering any cuts and grazes with thin strips of bacon.

 Nice show.I went this year and noticed that there were fewer traders this time.

 The Pirate table upstairs was amazing.Also saw the pictures in Wargames Illustrated.They dont do it justice.Nice work by Stuart.Any contact details for him?
