Join the Society of Ancients, read Slingshot every two months, and join us n the Society's Forum? Rule discussions - try here and here - battle reports, etc etc.

I'm really curious how your games will pan out. I am looking for something similar ruleswise because I would like to play something along those lines when the new Victrix Vikings come out. I am wondering if your approach to the ruleset you are using would work for something like that.

BaronVonJ, author of the various FFOL variants, has put up some play test reports with Vikings.

My interpretation is unofficial and geared towards a very narrow period. I’ll likely adjust mine further for Arthurian but, realistically, I can’t publish my revised QRS as it contains too much FFOL content.

Fistful of Lead. Started off as a cowboy game but has developed with more variants with more to come, including medieval and big battle. It’s simple but a lot of fun and very, very tactical.

Silent Invader ran a great game at BLAM with his variant. I'm stealing his scenario for rulebook. The Dark Age fight went great using FfoL. There'll be an "Official" Medieval supplement as soon as I get the Gothic Horror version out in January. PM me with any questions.
