This looks like a lot of fun.
I think I might have a go at painting up a couple of knights and there retinues to try out with Feudal Patrol.

What is Feudal Patrol?

It appears to be a forthcoming Medieval version of Combat Patrol, a ruleset that Chris Abbey sells. Chris might be party to developing Feudal Patrol, in which case he seems to be using my project thread for promotion. If that’s the case, it’s bloody rude. If it happens again I might have the thread locked and/or delete all my content.

Please do not use this thread for discussion of FP, it’s strictly a Fisftul of Lead zone.

It’s not my rule set .... I’m just an enthusiastic player.  :D

That said, the new generic ruleset includes a version of the scenario played out earlier in this thread . The genetic rules include medieval weapons though they are designed to be generic rather than medieval specific. It wouldn’t surprise me if at some point BaronVonJ published a medieval supplement with appropriate traits etc.

Oh, it’s on the way! Just a matter of whether its a straight Medieval or Fantasy included.

Fight!

Very nice knights & serjeants, good to see this project moving forward (unlike mine).

Lol

I guess there’s room for fantasy (LOTR anyone?) as long as it doesn’t detract from the medieval  :D

Jaye - how are are larger unit FFOL rules progressing?

Very sorry if I've caused offense 'Silent Invader'.
I'm a huge fan off your thread and just wanted to add to it so I got the updates to the thread, I don't think that my throw away comment that I might try something like that with Feudal Patrol was a hijack or advertising! but sorry if it has upset you. I certainly was not planning to mention it again on your thread.

I also don't want to hijack your lovely build thread.  :)
Not to worry, Fantasy will be it's own thing. The Big Battles rules are in playtest, which has mostly leaned towards colonial/VSF battles, but that's not to say it won't work for earlier.
On the other front, I have a set of Medieval rules I've used for years that I may be publishing that are not FfoL, but they still use cards. I have to decide which of the two makes SALUTE in 2020.
