Thanks all for your comments :)

I know it seems churlish to pick on one small detail when so much wonderful work is going on there - I mean, how smooth does the finish have to be, to look that good on extreme close-up? - but it's the eyes selling it to me.

Not at all! I probably wouldn't even have painted this miniature if not for the eyes so I'm glad you think so.

I'm stealing it and I'm not even ashamed. Too often I try to make the 'white' of the eye a pale cream colour because it seems more organic. But looking at what you've done there - it's plain old grey, and not too light either. And that's right, because that's how people's eyes really look, especially in contrast with a bright speck of light.

To be fair a lot of us do that because on the tabletop grey may come off as too dark.

Really depends on the size of the eyes you have to work with.

Hi again guys. I painted the classic moon faced Tzeentch champion as a companion piece to the Nurgle champion on page 8 of this thread. I'm not sure Goodwin intended the object hanging from his belt to be a stem of broccoli but I figured I'd just go with the most common interpretation.

Great figure with a great paintjob. I'll never see that as anything other than celery now!

That moon-man sorcerer miniature is one of my favorite Citadel pieces ever.  Mine is mounted on one of those flying discs.

Excellent paintwork there.

I'm stunned at the quality of painting you've achieved on these figures. I'm especially impressed with your corroded/verdigrised metal effects — very inspiring.

This thread amazes me beyond belief. Moonface is fantastic! And the praise on that little goblin needs to be seconded.
Brilliant.

Thanks guys.

I had painted up Throbin Death Eye from the Dwarf Lords of Legend box set earlier but never posted him on here. A fun sculpt although some design choices and the way they're executed are a bit iffy.
