Amazingly inspiring, as usual. I'd love to get my hands on a Zvezda ship now. Looking forward to seeing it completed!

Looking great. Is there going to to be some form of railing on the front castle? Or are Westerosi health and safety regulations as loose as they are in a galaxy far far away...

No railing...they are fearsome Ironborn reavers, not some flouncy sailors from Lannisport  ;)

I figured that you can’t really fire the weapon anyway if the sea is so rough that the crew are falling overboard - the ballista is mounted on a turntable, and so is secured - and the lack of protection for the crew actually gives the weapon a better firing arc.

So if the crew die...well... “they weren’t good fighters anyway”...  :D

What is dead can never die...

I suppose it makes assaults on enemy ships easier as well. That you don't have to first jump over your own railings first.

Cheers all.

Managed to splash some paint on the Ironborn ship plus the cargo ship.

Just a reminder, the latter is a Grand Manner Roman ship, which I’ve altered the stern on and added a wolfshead figurehead from a toy. The resin casting is pretty poor tbh especially the masts and sails where is looks like the mould has slipped, but I’ve tidied it up the best I can.

The Greyjoy ship looks amazing, big fan of the black hull!  :o Well done!

And good work with the sail too, the squid-sigil is definitely one of the fiddlier ones!
