I been thinking this same thing:

It also helps having everything visible - they are stored in glass cabinets - seeing what I’ve done already keeps me motivated to do more.

Wow!

That is some collection.

It is very inspiring (even if daunting).

HO-LEE SHIT! I've just seen those photos (much to my shame I'm not sure how I missed them?).

Fantastic commitment and work!

Been trying to reply to this thread for two days, lol. Haven't seemed to have more than five minutes free, and the words have escaped me a couple times...

You've already been called a mad bastard so I won't repeat the sentiment (although with the best will in the world, it is deserved). I shared all those pics with my local Kings of War group as an example of the best of the hobby. 'Phenomenal' doesn't cover it. It's super impressive to build a collection of that size, even more so to keep consistency and theme throughout, and especially on top of that to keep the quality as high as you have. Really phenomenal work. I don't know if you're into social media in general but this collection deserves to be shown far and wide, it's a labour of love that's been inspirational to follow over the past few years. Well done mate.

Now, when do we get some photo battle reports? ;)

Damned! With my actual 20-30 figs per year it would take me a lifetime to paint just what is pictured!

That I haven't. Although I expect a full 1/1 scale replica now...

Just a brief update today, to start to tackle one of the gaping holes in my collection...

Given that they are in the very first and last scenes of the TV Series, and plenty in between, it’s fairly surprising that I haven’t got around to building/painting any Nights Watch before now.

The following are a real mix of kits...from Perry, Fireforge, Frostgrave and Oathmark, plus a couple of metal heads from Westwind and shields from Gripping Beast. Fur/cloaks are greenstuffed.

As you can see I wanted them to have a real variety of kit...more so than anything I’ve attempted so far...to give them that feel of a ragtag forgotten force.

Let me know what you think  :)

Nice work! The Night's Watch feel like they have a lot of room to really go wild with mixing and matching different kits, so glad to see yours!

Wow!

The guy with the torch looks great - his expression looks like he's deciding whether it's a Wildling or a White Walker off in the distance.  :D
