Interesting effect. Well executed.

My only concern is the rather coppery colour (it might be a white balance issue or all in my mind).

The light (and lit area) might do with being a more distinct red. I think it was AndyM of this parish who had some excellent neon effects.

I could try hitting it with Bloodletter (red glaze) to increase red and smoothen it. Thanks for the comment! Really just experimenting with it.

More lovely terrain, what isn't there to love.
Great work. Keep it up & thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍

Just a thought,if I may,You could go a long way as space goes by making the walls magnetised & so collapsible.Adds variety, easier to transport, & will save lots of space. The downside might be paint getting scratched etc.

Again great work

Watching you having pre-made bits and pieces (walls, floors) makes me envious. In 15mm everything is a scratchbuild.

This piece is grea

That's a worthwhile project for someone to pursue! I don't personally feel confident to pull off that kind of separate walls system, though. I kinda prefer the feel of solid blocks.

As for transport and storage, I have the feeling it is already becoming somewhat comfortable. Currently about 8 pieces fit into one small shelf, compared to similar number of Mordheim buildings that would require 3-4 shelves of space. And if I wanted to be more compact with them, I could always pile another layer on top of them. Will take a storage pic once I have the 10-pieces set complete.

I've made a lot of scratch-built terrain (for example a Mordheim/Frostgrave city) in the past, too. Using this much ready plastics is actually a new experience to me. Thing that most surprised me is that it's almost as time-consuming! (Sometimes more...)

And still, about half of every piece here is scratch-built. Plastics just capture the attention with their detail. ;)

This said, I could never work with 15mm scale for its tiny-tiny details!

Three last pieces together.

Plan: to complete 3 more pieces before the end of this year to complete a junior-sized table, to be expanded a bit in 2019.

Next one.

Attempting to break the painted surface a bit more with cracked paint and rust patches.

Next piece. This time trying out blue.

There's sure to be a bit of detailing to add to that wall panel and such. But the rust and grime already liven it up nicely, or what do you think?

Striking colour, the piece looks great, although a bit unfinished!

If I were you, I would add a contrasting colour, perhaps yellow or orange, on the cog that surrounds the skull, seen on the last picture. Perhaps something on the wall above the machinery on the right in the same pic. A red valve handle or something.

Honestly I think it's a bit too bold - I think you have to consider how the scenery must blend into other pieces and how the scenery is a backdrop for a game.

So I think the colour itself is fine and adds interest bug I would heavily weather the transitions to a rusty brown and let the blue be a feature in the interior.

Just my $.02
