Striking colour, the piece looks great, although a bit unfinished!

If I were you, I would add a contrasting colour, perhaps yellow or orange, on the cog that surrounds the skull, seen on the last picture. Perhaps something on the wall above the machinery on the right in the same pic. A red valve handle or something.

It's about the same level of finish as all previous pieces - lacking the fine detailing. Most details here will come to where you just suggested, to the panel. Some yellow, yes, and I was thinking neon green for the screen. Picking out some individual pipes and buttons as well.

Honestly I think it's a bit too bold - I think you have to consider how the scenery must blend into other pieces and how the scenery is a backdrop for a game.

So I think the colour itself is fine and adds interest bug I would heavily weather the transitions to a rusty brown and let the blue be a feature in the interior.

Just my $.02

We will see how it blends into other pieces better when I soon complete the set and take a pic of them all together. Not that worried about it; I'm going for strong contrasts anyway and want some pieces to really pop. That said, might give this piece an overall white dusting to dull it down if the blue seems too bright. So far, it gives me a nice factory vibe.

Right, here is the last piece, at least for this year:

The pace of completing these 10 pieces may have seemed overly quick. Just keep in mind I began building these in August, and have been lately just painting.

Love the checkered floor. Next best thing to black and yellow warning stripes, IMHO.

Also, the various levels of grime and distress work out very nicely - on all pieces, but especially convincing on this one.

I'm hoping to add some of those warning stripes as well to some metal platforms!

This autumn's progress as whole. 9 larger pieces and 2 smaller ones.

It's great to see them all together!

How does it work with different setups? Are they made to fit one way or are they more standardized?

They're pretty interchangeable. Not all pieces lock perfectly with all others, but most do. Different setups are very much possible.

Looking good 👍👍👍
Good job.
What if you were to try upper floors using stackable Terrain ? You can build stairs, lifts, shafts, pits, cave ins etc..
Imagine the possibilities.
