Thanks for all the comments, chaps, most appreciated.
 :)

That’s good - I only ask because I use tins for primer spraying (magnetic bases holding minis to the tin) and the one downside is the old layers of paint in the tin tends to flake off n make a mess. Be ace if yours are durable.

They should be OK, as they will be spending most of their time in a box where all the parts within have a layer of bubble wrap and should not take too much battering when used in a game. If chipping becomes an issue I am considering either a quick spray varnish followed by a coat of matt medium to dull them down again if needs be.

That is very clever.

You can't have thought that up on your own. ;D

 lol lol
I am watching you Dr Dungheap!
 ;D

I am going to sort out the pictures with the buildings in situ with the civilians so far later today and chuck them up here, so that you can see how the buildings scale up with figures involved.

Watch this space....

Watch this space....

Done, with all the Civilians (and a Baronial Patrol) painted so far......

These shots include all the Civilians that I poked with a brush during the recent Kickstarter.
I shall post pictures of them here as well now the campaign is over.

It is the die-cast Disney store version from The Force Awakens, but they are pretty hard to find at a decent price now I warn you.

Amazing stuff, friend!

Cheers, mate.

Thanks.

You are welcome.
I think ebay may be your best bet if you are going to paint or convert as they seem to go for a fair bit new, up to £30!
They were only eight quid each when they came out in the Disney store.

I'm very jealous! This set up is exactly what I work towards in my 15mm project, you're so productive!!

Thank you.
I hope that I can keep this going as it will be one of my two main projects for the foreseeable future, the other being my OGAM forces.
Plenty to keep me busy with both (I have about twenty more civilians yet to paint for this project alone, never mind all the buildings...!).
 ;)

Time to add the Galactic Civilians from the Kickstarter (now that the campaign has finished) with two sets painted up in various different colours or uniforms fitting the Outland setting.

First up are an Outland Emergency Medical Services team....

A group of citizens in the latest 'four-colour' style popular in Landfall....

A couple in a more sedate style more typical of the rural and practical fashions of outlying settlements...

A Cognitive Collective employee and a member of the Emergency Rescue Services....

A busy thoroughfare full of Civilians heading about their business...

So good! Can't pick a favourite. Is that the roofs of your building you've used as a backdrop? Works well!

Those buildings are a bloody great idea. It's like a mini Tardis.

Thank you, sir.
 :)

That is indeed the rooftops in the background.
I shall use them as a backdrop until I make the rest of the buildings, but I need to make the things that will fit inside them first.
 ;)

It goes a long way to solving the issue of scenery beginning to take over the house!
