What can I say? It's a cracking uniform 

Love these. I'm going to wait till the command and skirmishers are out  before I order some more, but now I'm very inspired. Really like that somewhat orange tinge to the 'Brown Holland'  cloth!

Thank you I'm glad you're inspired that means a lot I was guided to this colour by Colonel Snook himself, so I'm very happy with how it turned out if it had been left to me I would have made the same mistake as a lot of proper artists who have painted this Regiment and probably gone with a brown shade that would have been totally wrong

So another pack done and these Highlanders are starting to look a little more like a unit now.
They are a one off commission for the proprietor of Iron Duke Miniatures Colonel Mike Snook, who is going to finish the basing to match his existing collection.
I'm enjoying painting these, they are fantastic little figures to paint. They take a little longer because of the kilts, socks and band around the bonnet but well worth the effort I hope.
