After a very long hiatus from this project it's now back in my crosshairs as the no.1 priority - I want to complete my Undead force for SAGA: Age of Magic, and so to that end I'm breaking out old and new minis.

First up are some reinforcements for the Myrmidons and Thrall on the last couple pages:

So, as I'm repurposing things for Age of Magic, I took the opportunity to revisit some old Mierce completions. Namely these archers from Mierce's Jutes range. They were getting a bit chipped around and generally lacking some finer detail, so I've gone back over them, improved the contrast and highlights where I can, added some weathering powders and rebased the lot of them. Quite pleased with the end result.

A twelve-strong block of Undead archers in Saga will be quite useful - not least because as Warriors they also pack a punch in melee.

Those archers are ace! Lovely paintjob too; the colours work really well together.

I've been planning to add a unit of archers to my undead horde for quite some time, but finding the right ones to fit in has been sort of difficult. Since most of my skellies are Mantic ones (hey; I like 'em  ), I originally went with their archer add ons, but for some reason archers wearing (the remains of) plate armour and sallets just didn't sit right with me.

But these look perfect for the job! Cheers for pointing me in the right direction

Another completion (well, re-completion - retouching and rebasing) - twelve more undead wights to serve as warriors in Saga. I'm also having a terrain redux at the minute, so expect to see some more terrain from me in the future.
