Oooh those are pretty!

You've done a lovely job on the weathering too, nice and subtle. Ace.

Brilliant stuff! 8)

They really look perfect; the hand on that Centurion is ace.

All those Mechs really make me eager to scratch my own Battletech itch again... ::)

Yeah, the printed designs are just so much better than the older Iron Wind stuff.  The incredible paint jobs help, of course.

Can you imagine what the gaming industry would be like if the actual BTech figs had always been this cool looking?  The paint jobs are exceptional, sure, but the printed sculpts are just so far ahead of all but the very best efforts from RP and IWM.  "Cool Battletech" would have sold like mad, to the point where it'd have the kind of retail presence that you see with Games Workshop stuff.  Instead, the game's been around since 1984 and my (extremely well stocked) FLGS doesn't carry the minis at all, has books left over from the 90s, and has only sold four copies of the new starter box.  I know game sales are very regional and there's still a healthy-but-aging fanbase, but overall BTech is just marginalized in so many areas and struggles to draw new players.

Bonus points if he does it in shades of pink.  :)

Hi and thanks! :)

Well actually i wanted to paint something like this on his head:

But with the Davion paintscheme i doubt it would stand out. So this will be the guideline:

I'll save the mexican paintscheme for a merc unit later because i have a second Atlas ready... I just need to find a really cool Gatling Gun and than this Atlas will be printed:

Technically it's an Atlas 2 but... Pssst, don't tell anyone. I'll just put the AC20 from the Torso into the Arm... Rule of cool. ;)

Boy, those look good.

And yeah, putting your ammo and AC20 in an arm instead of the torso is just a Good Idea all around.  Better firing arc, and even with CASE ammo in a torso is just asking for it to explode.

That mech getting wrecked in the artwork there, reminds me a lot of my mech in MechWarrior Online, including the being on fire part lol

Awesome work in this thread. Inspired me to look into Battletech tabletop finally. I bought a Madcat from Ral Partha to have a play with. :-)

Isn't that a dropship getting a salvo of LRMs to the dome, behind the Atlas?
