What I painted in May (2009)
« on: June 01, 2009, 01:01:09 PM »
Well if nobody else is going to start, I'll do it.  :)

Think everyboy's seen these already in various threads, so apologies for repeating myself.

Supers:

Some Golgo Island nuttiness:

A very old Dwarf:

Zorro!

And an experimental flat:

Also finished off half a dozen trees and started sprucing up a unit of halflings that were looking a bit sorry and frankly dreadful. But they don't count towards the total as it is mainly rebasing and fixing the dodgy flesh tones.

How did everyone else do?  :)

Nice stuff, JB.

Although I have painted rather a lot - comparision with my own Productivity Rates  ;) - It's all for LPL.   :?

I got loads done this month, although much of it was 'production line' painting:

Firstly, a pirate ship/Dhow for various uses;

Perry miniature's British infantry command (mounted);

And then the week took a turn for the French:
8 Dixon miniatures tirailleurs (painted as Turkish-sorta);

12 Eureka Senegalese tirailleurs;

And finally, two French steam tanks (Ironclad minis);

I'm getting better and better at this photo lark...
I told you so. You damned fools.

I love then metal Easter Island head, that's wonderful.   :-*  :-*

Looks like quite a lot now I go back over it all, so in a nice surprise I've painted more than I thought.

More Imperials for Star Wars, all repaints of Wizards minis.  The game shop opposite my house sells loose SW and D&D minis which seems to me a better way to pick them up than the random boxes.

A few characters for some upcoming Doctor Who games, a new assistant for The Doctor, Katie, from Artizan's side of the KKBB range.  Then Professor Goatsie, a powerful space lawyer, played here by a Vorlon from the old Mongoose Babylon 5 range.

From the Copplestone side of KKBB range this time, three KGB men.  For our games they're destined to be Smugglers from the fictional country, The Workers Republic of Borkova.

A few bits of scenery from Black Cat, I was really disappointed with these as nothing was cast properly, not a single complete handle or round wheel on anything.  So it all sat in a box for ages while I had a sulk, but I decided to get on with it get the best bits painted up.

A new thrower for my Bloodbowl team, the R'lyeh Reds.  My existing thrower has gotten a bit good and it looks like he's on the menu for a few teams, so it's time to start building up a backup player.  :)

Mini from Impact!

From Artizan's WWII British Paras range, another wounded man caked in dirt.  He has been sat on my painting table for months with just the khaki trousers painted, so it was time to get him finished off.

From EM-4 this time, a Ninja.  His ninjitsu skills enabled him to defeat the camera here.  He's a tiny bit smaller than the Perry Ninja, but close enough to fit in nicely.

And finally, two more Terminators armed with assault rifles, also from EM-4.  This rounds out my ten robot squad.

Wow Dolmot that little fleet is amazing, looks like gingerbread, I love it  :-*
I also like the Cryxx quite a bit, the creamy white is unusual and the base edge colour is wonderful.

Glad to see I am not the only one that thought it looked good enough to eat. lol

Whilst I wouldn't like to eat it I love the metal mushroom, although not I was to see some Steampunk Smurfs to go with it.
