Into the Void...
« on: December 04, 2018, 02:02:46 PM »
I've decided to do a Rogue Trader project (alongside my Oldhammer Fantasy one) but instead of using the old stuff I have... I figured I'd try and do it with the new plastics.

This will be a 'from scratch' project - figures, terrain, vehicles - the lot will need doing. The idea is to keep it in the theme of Rogue Trader as a mass skirmish with a dose of RPG about it.

Anyway... enough of the boring stuff and onto the models. The first batch of models Im working on are a group of Void Pirates. Part of this project will be a lot of conversions, and these fellows start that. Its also an interesting one for me, as I hate painting plastic figures, and this whole project will likely be plastic!

So the first three Void Pirates are ready...

... I have a few more waiting in the wings for this 'warband'...

Lovely! And since I've somehow managed to end up with too many Genestealer Cultists I'll definitely be following your progress closely for ideas to steal.

Two more Void Pirates finished last night... Most of the pirates are currently equipped for ship to ship 'boarding' actions with Vac-Suits and close quarters weapons.

May need to add a few with some longer range weapons for ground based actions...
