Hi Arundel, my friend and I played a fun Doctor Who style Pulp Alley game a few years ago (though for a laugh we changed all the names to a more Pulp style e.g. the Professor instead of the Doctor). My pal wrote up the attributes used for our hero:
"The Prof stats were 3d10 in Dodge, Might, Finesse & Cunning, 2d8 Brawl & Shoot. I don't think he initiated a combat in the whole game and dodged out of any he was involved in.
Ability wise he was given
Danger Sense (automatically passing 1st peril each turn)
Deductive (Draw 1 Fortune card instead of an action)
Finagler (Once per turn shift Finesse or Cunning up 1 die)
Oh and he had a bag of brightly coloured jellies "
