Three Castles Walk - Part Two
«

In the second part of a post covering a two day walk Mr Steve and myself enjoyed back in September, we take a look at St Cadoc's Church and some amazing items on show dating back to the 15th century,
Grosmont Castle, the scene of two medieval battles and the final castle in our three castles walk
and the mighty Raglan castle that is steeped in British history from the Norman invasion to the English Civil War

seems to show, right to left, how the vestiges of time take their toll.
(very interesting blog, too)

Great photos and blog - I was some part of the team involved in the initial conservation work on the church about 18 years ago - the discovery of the wall painting in the Nave was quite a surprise back then.
Thanks for posting.
