Conwy Wargames Club Rome vs Sassanids game

We played Rome vs Sassanids using the Hail Caesar rules back in the summer using Dave's 15mm collection. We had 2 players a side on a 6x4 board with no terrain so each side had a clear run to manoeuvre against each other. The game played beautifully and provided a magnificent if only moment, where dice permitting the Sassanid heavy cavalry would have swept the Rome left away.
