40K Mech and Pilot
« on: December 29, 2018, 12:25:20 AM »
Done for a group 40K project Gelida: the Frozen Expanse, set on a frozen planet. People have to resort to utilizing mechs and exosuits to traverse the world for resources.

My contribution is this mech converted from a Killa Kan and its pilot, based on a Steel Legion guardsman. Heavily inspired by Jakub Rozalski's art. More on the blog: LINK.

Cool idea, the atmospheric setting pic is great. Nice job reducing the orkiness!

The things you create for specific group projects are pretty awesome.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Beautiful - I recognised the inspiration immediately. Looking at it I realise how simple the conversion has been - but your painting and photography really make a lovely transformation.
