Thank guys.

a new shot to see the base made from a strong paper clip featurig the manta's tail.

The shaman is pin in the manta's back (hard plastic) and the paper clip into the rear

and curve at the end to give a base to the animal .

The shaman'staff is also pin in the back to give a second attachment point for the figurine

Just to throw an idea, but of course, you are the creator and re-animator! (Cheers!)
You have found this so beautiful video showing the mantas flying completely out of the water.
You may have noticed the moment the tail is out of the water, leaving a strong water trail.
My idea is to use part of the paper clip for the manta's tail and part of it covered with elaborated silicone to represent the water trail.
We have the same idea perhaps?

This is the idea, my friend

but i have to see several manta's video before starting the water effect.
Hot glue gun could be a part of the solution for water.....see my waterfall terrain
