Less Sharpe, more blunt.
« on: January 06, 2019, 02:51:47 PM »
Quite some time ago I set up a Peninsular war game for my friend Vodkafan,
unfortunately he was ill on the day & couldn't make it. The table had to be
cleared, but I couldn't resist taking some pictures. It has taken till now
(with the help of my lovely wife) to get them downloaded.
No battle report. No battle! I did not think it could go on the (wonderful)
latest game played section. Maybe it might start a trend, 'games that I
nearly played' ?????

We will have to do that again...at least you got some good pics out of it, and now you know how to get pics on here! So not time totally wasted  ;)
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

'Time not totally wasted' Vodkafan you are correct, though most of 2018 flew by
without most of my new year resolutions fulfilled, however 2019 has started
MUCH better.  Maybe this is THE YEAR my 'stuff' gets sorted.
(please note I have been thinking this for more than half a century,
when my vast horde of figures nearly filled three file boxes & I had almost a dozen
tins of Humbrol paints with FIVE brushes!!!!!)
