WW2 Japanese projects in 28mm
« on: January 12, 2019, 11:09:39 PM »
My lead/resin pile requires immediate address so I've started plowing through WW2 Japanese projects lately.  Sadly keeping me out of this year's build-something contest! :'(

Some Warlord vehicles are better than others.  Here are a couple kit bash projects that turned out ok:

The little command car needed a better windscreen and a few details improved with greenstuff.  I added a backseat crewman and swapped a few heads:

Their Chi-Ha has separate hull hatches but not in the right place so I cut one in the correct spot for the MG gunner.  Commanders hatch also needed improvement:

Lovely work!

If you wanted to improve the look of that turret hatch here’s what the underside looks like:

Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Nice conversion! 8)

That's a shame about the BSC. I'd have LOVED to have seen a bush plane carved out of wood! ;)
